Meet Dawn
Dawn officially launched Shore Pet Care in 2022—but the heart behind it has been growing for decades. She’s been caring for the pets of friends and neighbors in every community she’s called home, offering dependable, compassionate care throughout her life.
A true animal lover and advocate, Dawn has served as both a foster mom and a forever mom to rescues. She’s deeply committed to the well-being of every animal she meets.
In addition to providing pet care, Dawn works as a freelance content writer and is in the process of writing her debut historical fiction novel, The Last Lamplighter. When she’s not writing or hanging out with furry friends, you’ll likely find her tending her garden during the growing season.
Meet Koda
Koda and Dawn found each other at Sterling Animal Shelter in 2014. Since then, this duo has been inseparable! His temperament is sweet, easy-going, and silly. He greets everyone he meets with a huge contagious smile. Koda gets along wonderfully with other animals and enjoys the companionship of fellow canines. Koda joins Dawn for most overnight pet sitting stays and dog walks.
